Participation in “Innovations 2003” at Institute of Engineers, Nagpur won Best Polytechnic Award , 8 prizes & Quiz Competition.
At Innovations 2003 at Institute of Engineers, Nagpur following prizes were won :
1. In Auto./ Mech. Group “Design and Fabrication of Cricket Ball throwing Machine” bagged first prize guided by Prof.S.D.Thakre.
2. In Auto./ Mech. Group “Utilisation of Waste heat in LPG burner, Application in Coffee making Machine” won second prize guide by Prof.P.V.Kane.
3. In Electronic / Computer Hardware Group “Unmanned Reconnaissance Vehicle” having application in Military Intelligence Services for Reconnaissance mission won first prize guided by Prof.Mrs.V.R.Bora.
4. In Electronic / Computer Hardware Group “Design, Development and Monitoring of LAN using multioperating systems” having application in Industrial organizations won third prize was guided by Prof. K. N. Hande.
5. In software group, “Implementation of IC-8255 using VHDL” won first prize was guided by Prof.Ms.D.J.Sharma.
6. In Civil group, “Computerized Bi-axial Leveller” was given consolation prize was guided by Prof.B.P.Pardhi. The leveller provides computerized facility for levelling of floor surfaces or of heavy machine surfaces.
7. In “Inter Collegiate Quiz Competition” Ms.Juhi Khare and Mr.Edison Bose brought the first prize.
8. ISTE – Narsee Monjee Award 2003 Competition at Mumbai. Appreciation for “Design and Development of Light Weight Eco-
Friendly Tricycle”.
9. Paper Presentation by students at Jawaharlal Nehru Polytechnic, Pune.
10. Participation in Dipex 2004 at Govt. Polytechnic, Nanded won second prize, the project titled Voice Guided PC Controlled Automatic Vehicle”.
11. 1st prize in Vastu Shilpshastra at Regional level exhibition for Rural Technological Development organized by Institute of Engineer.
12. Rs.10000/- prize at IIT, Powai, Mumbai by a team headed by III AE student in an event called Adventure Mystery.
13. First Prize in ISTE – Narsee Monjee 2004 Competition at Narsee Monje Institute of Management, Mumbai.
14. First Prize in 7th National Convention of ISTE Students at B & B Institute, Anand, Gujarat.
15. 6 Projects (in all 24 students) participated in 7th National Convention of ISTE Students at B & B Institute, Anand, Gujarat.
16. Participated in Project Competition “Wings Of Science” at Science Exhibition M.P.Deo Memorial Dharampeth, Science College, Nagpur on 10 to12 Dec04 got First Prize for Project Title “Robotic Ant” Ms.T.N. Kumbalpuri.
17. Participated in Exhibition on Science Environment organized by Maharashtra State Pollution Control Board at Dinanth School, Nagpur on 15 to 16 Dec.04 got Second Prize Prize for Project Title “Co-generation Based Heating Appliances” Mr.G.N.Akhade.
