The need of the time calls for specialists in the field of Automobile engineering. The demand can be met by well qualified engineers who are well versed with modern transportation systems and can also design and manufacture environmental friendly vehicles and explore alternative energy sources.
The department of automobile engg. impart just this and more through systematic academic training. Theoretical aspects and principles of automobile include military vehicles, on and off road. The regular curriculum includes evaluation and analysis of performance of the vehicles and a methodical approach to its maintenance.
The department strives to supplement theoretical knowledge with the hands of the training and experience working conditions through the leading Automobile Industries. This gives students the opportunity of Automobile maintenance on a practical and commercial basis.
The department was established in 1983. Ours is the first college starting three years Diploma course in Automobile Engineering within the preview of Maharashtra State Board Of Technical Education.
